Unemployment fell in metro Birmingham and across Alabama last month, but experts caution that the decline doesn’t signal a true turnaround in the state’s slumping job market.
Metro Birmingham’s jobless rate for November was 9.5 percent, down from 9.9 percent in October, the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations said Friday.
