Who Am I
I have helped companies, coalitions and non-profit advocacy groups effectively communicate with policymakers, opinion leaders, the news media and the public.
I specialize in helping organizations refine and deliver powerful messages that help change minds, change laws, secure positive media coverage and rally the public to just causes.
My professional work has included working in government agencies, private corporations and non-profit advocacy groups. I know the unique challenges of the South as intimately as I know the complex ways of government.
My communications and web technology development is one of the best and most creative in the region.
Professional Bio:
Lacey Loftin:
I have a BA in History and Political Science from Delta State University, a Master’s in Conflict Management from Arcadia University, and a Legal Master’s in Human Rights Law from the Queen’s University of Belfast in Northern Ireland. I am the beta website Issues Director and Webmaster/Database Administrator for Project America, who was given the task of collecting the initial raw data and managing the beta web pages. I have maintained well over 500+ individual issue pages over the last 3 years along with blogging about those issues as they arise in the news. With the help of my team at Free the Slaves, we helped change industry standards and informed the public on international issues such as the continued and widespread use of sex slaves and agri-slavery. I have participated in conferences on human rights and government relations, both in the United States and Northern Ireland. I have held positions with various NGO’s including Free the Slaves, Inc. and the United Way. I can be contacted via email at lacey@policyintelligence.org.
